Cleaner CS is a liquid, acidic and particularly effective cleaner. Stainless steel surfaces (austenitic, ferritic and austenitic stainless steel) but also nickel, nickel alloys, aluminum and aluminum alloys as well as under certain conditions Titanium and Titanium alloys are degreased and cleaned in a one-step process.
Cleaner CS removes surface rust, light oxide coatings and even more extensive rust and is especially suitable for the treatment of corroded surfaces.
Cleaner CS achieves metallically shiny, grease-free surfaces. Lime scale and water-stains can be effectively removed with Cleaner CS. In particular Cleaner CS removes residues from test-chemicals for crack- and crevice-testing.
Cleaner CS contains phosphoric acid, additives and inhibitors. It is free from hydrofluoric acid, fluorides and nitric acid and thus does not attack surfaces. Therefore the restricting regulations governing the use of these chemicals do not apply.
Cleaner CS is supplied as a liquid and is used undiluted. It is applied by brush, rollers, cloth or spray. The temperature of the treated surface should be between + 5° and + 30°C. After a treatment time of 15-45 minutes the surfaces are thoroughly rinsed with water if possible using a high-pressure rinse.
During the application the working instructions have to be followed and protective clothing and safety goggles have to be worn. The rinse water is acidic and has to be disposed of according to the statutory laws and regulations.
