Protect Cleaner cleans stainless steel surfaces that are spoilt and rendered unsightly by dirt, lime scale, tarnishing or other environmental factors and leaves a lasting protection. Rust is removed and damaged, corroded or tarnished areas are restored. The corrosion resistance of the stainless steel surface is improved with lasting effect.
The effect of Protect Cleaner is based on the deep cleaning (removal of free iron) of the natural passive layer of stainless steel. Discolorations are brightened, so that the original surface finish is restored.
Regular application reliably strengthens the protecting passive layer and prevents further corrosion.
Protect Cleaner cleans and improves all types of stainless steel, even ferritic Cr-steels (>15% Cr).
Treated surfaces are approved for uses involving the direct contact with foods (ISEGA).
Tested for cleaning of swimming pools by the German Säurefliesner-association and added to list of approved products of the Deutsche Gesellschaft für das Badewesen (German Society for Bathing).
Protect Cleaner is supplied ready-to-use and is applied to the surface with a cloth or via spraying. The surface should be kept moist for a while by wiping it with a soaked cloth. The treatment time depends on the surface condition. Persistent impurities are removed after several applications possibly using cleaning-fleece to support the cleaning effect. Optimal effects are achieved after 3 hours.
After treatment surfaces must thoroughly be rinsed with clean water. The use of soft water for rinsing avoids water stains. Protect Cleaner is not specified as a hazardous substance, easy to handle and bio-degradable.
Protect Cleaner is an irritant for the eyes and skin. Keep the product locked and out of children’s reach. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately and thoroughly with plenty of water and seek medical advice.
